Crane Truck Training / Licence

TLILIC1208A - Licence to operate a vehicle loading crane (capacity 10 metre tonnes and above)

Objectives: The Training  is designed to train operators to a competent standard in both theory and practical, which and give participants the necessary skills to safely operate a Vehicle Loading Crane ( Crane Truck ) as described in the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work. On completion of the Crane Truck Training participants will be able to perform pre-operation checks; set-up and operate crane truck; shut down; dismantle and perform various operations competently.

Entry Requirements: Candidates participating in the crane truck training must be at least 18 years of age. Basic verbal and written english communication skills sufficient to read and understand theory and undergo a practical assessment.

Duration: 1 - 2 Day Course.

Dates: Training will usually be undertaken on a saturday.

Practical:

• Set Up Crane
• Transfer Load
• Mobile Load
• Shut Down And Secure Load Crane

Material Required/ Supplied: All material is supplied including Trainees Guide and Workbook,  resource materials and Assessment Sheets.

Participants: Minimum of 2 Maximum of 4

Outcome/Qualifications:

≥10 Metre Tonnes Vehicle Loading Crane – Worksafe licence

Upon successful completion of this course, participants are required to lodge their notice of assessment with Australia post. Upon successful lodgment with Australia Post, a Worksafe “Licence to Perform High Risk Work” will be posted out to the applicant.

On Completion:

Once the applicant has successfully passed the training and assessment they will need to submit the required paper work to Australia Post along with the required fee and then their National ticket will be sent to them in the mail. They are given an interim ticket to cover them until the card comes through.

Cost: $750 + $60 Worksafe Fee
